Meet the Plants

From April to September, Fireweed Farm will host "Meet the Plant" days, offering a unique opportunity to tap into plant wisdom.

Each month, we will focus on one plant, helping participants learn to listen to and perceive messages from the plant world. These plant sits are designed to be a meditative, sensory experience where you can deepen your connection to nature and the earth around you.

Whether you're an herbalist or simply someone seeking a closer relationship with the land you live on, these gatherings are for anyone who wants to tune into the wisdom of plants and foster a deeper understanding of their surroundings.

Each session will include:

• An introduction to the plant’s medicinal and ecological significance

• Quiet time for observation, reflection, and listening

• Sensory exploration through tasting, smelling, and touching the plant

• Group sharing and discussion about the plant’s messages and how to incorporate it into everyday life

These plant sit days will open the door to a richer, more intuitive relationship with the plants and land that support us.
